Job description

This position focuses on the operational aspects of sales management, including the coordination of sales plans (product mix, cost/price, customer incentives), profit analysis, implementation, reporting, and review. It is aligned with a dedicated sales team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for submitting RFPs (Request for Pricing) and RFIs (Request for Information) for large customers. Provides sales teams and customers with annualized savings reports and other related requests. Collaborates with internal departments such as Upmarket Sales, Enterprise Operations, Management, Finance, and Enterprise Legal to complete processes.
  2. Manages Enterprise Profit Models, working with Enterprise Legal to draft RFPs, bids, and agreements as needed. Coordinates efforts to meet priorities, participates in regular meetings, and tracks wins, pending deals, and losses.
  3. Works with GPO, Non-GPO, and other local contract structures. Requests sales plans with markup structures and pricing adjustments. Provides savings reports using lower-cost alternative products or contract costs.
  4. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
  5. Independently manages and prioritizes workload and is available to assist Enterprise Operations Specialists.


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic business math skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MicroStrategy Data Warehouse
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Effective proactive communication with the sales force
  • Ability to review and edit Enterprise Profit Models
  • Recognize and understand GPO, Non-GPO, and other local contract structures
  • Knowledge of sales plans and pricing adjustments
  • Ability to conduct price and cost savings reports using lower-cost products or contracts
  • Review and edit product matches based on customer usage reports

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills


MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.


TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel is typically less than 10%. No special physical demands required.
