8th Light is seeking a Field CTO who will drive market strategy, win engagements, and shape our offerings. You will lead technical credibility in deals while building relationships with clients and partners, influencing growth, and guiding strategic direction.

This is a market-facing leadership role in a distributed, high-caliber consulting environment. You will work closely with the CEO, Growth, and senior technologists to shape services, expand partnerships, and advance AI platform initiatives

Qualifications

• 10+ years in custom software consultancies.
• Able to pitch clients and win engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience influencing without authority.

Responsibilities

• Join deal teams to win engagements and provide a technical presence.
• Represent us in the market through talks, writing, and events.
• Shape and sharpen offerings based on market feedback and client needs.
• Collaborate with Growth to identify platform and AI partners.
• Drive go-to-market direction and pursue strategic opportunities.
