TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America is seeking a Power Originator to identify, structure, negotiate, and execute electricity, capacity, and renewable energy transactions across North American markets. You will develop solutions for internal and external customers and collaborate with IPPs, developers, and load-serving entities to grow the portfolio.

The role requires at least 5 years in energy commodities, strong knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, or CAISO, and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in energy commodities.
• Experience in wholesale electricity trading, marketing, operations, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. power markets (ERCOT, PJM, CAISO).
• Proven business development and relationship management skills.

Responsabilités

• Origin, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and execute power and related energy transactions.
• Support procurement of flexible assets (BESS, CCGTs) to balance portfolio.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, credit, legal, and finance teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
