Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end US payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage payroll processing through ADP and Oracle platforms.
  • Partner with external payroll providers and vendors, including Accenture or similar payroll outsourcing organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end activities.
  • Drive payroll process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits, and IT teams.
  • Manage payroll escalations and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Develop and mentor payroll team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Support payroll-related projects, system implementations, and integrations.

Site Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid - 4 days at the office, 1 day working from home)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Team Leader to lead and oversee payroll operations for employees across the United States. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, managing payroll-related projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and driving continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ADP, Oracle, and payroll operations in partnership with large consulting or outsourcing organizations such as Accenture. This individual must be a collaborative leader capable of managing teams, influencing stakeholders, and working effectively in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end US payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage payroll processing through ADP and Oracle platforms.
  • Partner with external payroll providers and vendors, including Accenture or similar payroll outsourcing organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of payroll experience, including US payroll management.
  • Experience managing payroll operations for medium to large organizations.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • ADP
  • Oracle HCM / Oracle Payroll
  • Payroll outsourcing models and vendor management
  • Experience working with Accenture or similar payroll managed service providers.
  • Advanced English (written and verbal).
  • Previous leadership experience managing payroll teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid environment.

Annual salary range: 52-62k USD + benefits
