US-MX Finance & Operations Liaison

Job summary

TrimRx is seeking a financially-minded liaison to bridge U.S. and Mexico teams. The role focuses on budgets, invoices, vendor contracts, and cash flow, without executing payments. You will coordinate with external accounting firms and BI to forecast and analyze financial data.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting/finance background, bilingual fluency, and experience in budgets, vendor management, and contract terms. This on-site role is based in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 100% bilingual English–Spanish with professional negotiation skills.
• Availability to work on-site in San Diego, CA.
• Accounting or finance background with knowledge of U.S. tax and accounting frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial operations, accounts payable, or vendor management.
• Experience negotiating payment terms and dates with vendors; ability to read financial statements, contracts, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Track the overall and departmental budgets; compare budget vs. actual spend and flag deviations.
• Validate invoices before payment and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Negotiate with vendors on dates, extensions, calendars, and payment terms.
• Own the contract file, renewals, W-9s, and tax documentation for vendors and contractors.
• Coordinate between U.S. operations, BI, and Mexico Finance/Accounting; provide timely context on expenses and cash needs.
• Support closures, budgets, forecasts, and audits with external accounting firms.
