Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Managing Director, Solution Architect to lead the U.S. Solution Architecture team and drive major technology transformations, including Salesforce and Oracle ERP initiatives.

This hybrid role supports offices in Washington DC, Fairfield CT, or Lexington KY. You will align global platforms with U.S. fundraising and finance needs while guiding cross-functional teams and safeguarding CRM capabilities during transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years in relevant work
• Expertise in enterprise and solution architecture, governance, and roadmaps
• Experience leading large-scale CRM/ERP transformations spanning design, migration, and deployment
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and guide teams through change
• Ability to influence across global or federated organizations and explain technical decisions
• Knowledge of technology trends and project methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Nonprofit sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish architecture standards and governance across BTS
• Lead enterprise architecture for Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP transitions
• Define future-state roadmaps aligning SCI global solutions with US needs
• Coordinate design decisions with cross-functional teams and partners
• Communicate tradeoffs clearly to business and executive audiences
