Job summary

CFC is seeking a Paralegal, Legal & Compliance to support regulatory and compliance activities in the US, with a focus on maintaining insurance licences across all 50 states and ensuring timely submissions.

You will collaborate with Compliance, underwriting, claims and product development to handle licence submissions, broker vetting, agency management, and regulatory communications, while expanding US regulatory knowledge in a fast-moving insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years regulatory and compliance experience.
• Experience with US admitted insurance compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, Legal preferred.
• Legal experience advantageous.
• Experience with delegated authorities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CFC’s US insurance and claims licensing across all 50 states and coordinate submissions.
• Monitor licence status and maintain internal records; resolve licensing issues.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and support broker onboarding and agency management.
• Support product rate and form filings and regulatory assessments.
• Assist with internal/external audits and regulatory communications.
