Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in US indirect tax compliance/consulting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• CPA is optional.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Analytical and quantitative capabilities with data-backed analysis.
• Ability to create clear documentation and work papers.
• Ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience leading/managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Directing a team of tax professionals across compliance, reporting, and strategy.
• Liaising with external tax service providers and managing audits/controversy.
• Conducting tax research for US indirect tax topics.
• Interacting with tax authorities to resolve notices and information requests.
• Collaborating with other Finance teams on tax requirements.
• Reviewing indirect tax compliance and approving EFTs for tax payments.
• Reviewing exemption certificates to ensure correct tax jurisdictions.
• Contributing to best practices for process improvements.
