Job summary

Austin Powder Company is seeking a U.S. GL Operations Manager to lead the general ledger and close processes across the U.S. Center of Excellence.

You will supervise journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and governance, partnering with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Cost Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. The role focuses on process standardization, automation, and strong internal controls while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all U.S. general ledger accounting activities.
• Own the U.S. close calendar and close management process.
• Oversee all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions and monthly settlement processes.
• Partner with IT and finance transformation teams on ERP and systems improvements.
• Drive internal controls and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
