Aston Carter is seeking an Accounting Manager in Eden Prairie, MN to lead the combined accounting operations, including AP, AR, and grain procurement accounting. You will oversee month-end close, maintain GL integrity, and drive process improvements with a hands‑on leadership style.

The role requires a strong track record in general ledger, financial reporting, and team development, with a focus on cross‑functional collaboration and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of accounting or GL leadership experience.
• At least 4+ years of technical accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reporting packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations across AP, AR, collections, and grain procurement accounting.
• Set service levels and performance metrics for transactional teams.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Partner with grain origination, operations, and commercial teams on contracts and payables.
• Manage monthly close, reconcile sub-ledgers to GL, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead GL automation and deployment of Dynamics 365 and Power BI in reporting.
