Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a GL Accountant to support the U.S. Center of Excellence. You will assist with the month-end close, journal entries, intercompany activity, and financial reporting while ensuring GAAP-compliant processes.

Role emphasizes internal controls, reconciliations, and continuous improvement across U.S. operations, collaborating with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and site teams. Manufacturing context preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience with GL and close processes.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Shared Services or Center of Excellence experience preferred.
• ERP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and monthly confirmations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and assist audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and ERP enhancements.
