Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in California seeks an US-FTZ Import Manager to lead cross-border trade compliance for the U.S. and FTZ operations. You will develop policies, manage risk, and guide a team of import specialists to ensure adherence to US customs and FTZ regulations.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, International Trade Compliance and work with internal stakeholders and CBP partners to optimize tariff mitigation and flawless entries across the network.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in trade compliance and global operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, including customs laws.
• Experience in managing trade compliance programs and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of import compliance professionals.
• Ensure imports are entered in compliance with US Customs Regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify improvements.
• Ensure FTZ operations comply with US Foreign Trade Zone regulations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to build tariff mitigation processes.
• Manage FTZ inventory control and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure import/FTZ procedures are current and accurately reconciled yearly.
• Support on-site CBP reviews and respond to CBP requests.
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and training programs.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and communicate impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
• Continuously evaluate processes for improvements.
• Handle day-to-day import issues affecting supply chain.
