Job summary

Zact is building a dedicated Application Support function for its GCP-hosted, microservices-based commercial card and payments platform. This mid-level analyst role is the second US seat on the team, working closely with the Lead Application Support Engineer.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in application support, technical support, IT operations, or a closely related role.
• Solid SQL — you write SELECT queries with JOINs, subqueries, and WHERE clauses without needing a template.

Responsibilities

• Own the Zendesk ticket queue during US hours — triage, respond, resolve with full documentation
• Investigate issues across GCP logs and MySQL data, using correlation IDs
• Escalate with a structured handoff including logs reviewed and queries run
• Write clear, professional updates to banking clients during incidents
