Job summary

Zact Inc. is building a dedicated Application Support function for our GCP-hosted, microservices-based commercial card and payments platform.

This mid-level analyst will join the US team alongside a Lead Application Support Engineer and handle tier-1 and tier-2 tickets across US banking hours. You will perform log analysis in GCP, run MySQL queries, and maintain runbooks while communicating professionally with bank clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in application support, technical support, IT operations, or a related role.
• Solid SQL skills with joins, subqueries, and where clauses and ability to read results.
• Experience with Cloud logs (GCP or equivalent) to investigate production issues.

Responsibilities

• Own the Zendesk ticket queue during US hours, triage by severity, respond, and resolve or escalate with documentation.
• Investigate using logs and queries; run structured handoffs to the Lead for complex incidents.
• Monitor dashboards and alert channels; ensure clean handoff to India team at US day end.
• Communicate clearly with bank clients, provide updates, and document findings and resolutions.
