Job summary

Intrepid Travel seeks an experienced General Manager, DMC USA to lead our Destination Management Company across Intrepid, Wildland Trekking, and Urban Adventures in the United States. This onsite role is based in Golden, Colorado, five days a week, reporting to the President, Americas.

The GM will drive growth, profitability, and exceptional partner products while building a high-performing leadership team across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of senior management experience; company or country management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of managing ground operations in the US, including national parks, wilderness, and multi-day active products.
• Proven leadership with direct accountability for a multidisciplinary team.
• High level of financial literacy and ability to make strategic decisions.
• Understanding of US tourism regulations and permits at federal/state level.
• Experience integrating acquired businesses, brands, and teams is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in tourism or an operations-, sales-, or customer-focused industry.
