Job summary
Intrepid Travel is seeking an experienced General Manager, DMC USA to lead our destination management operations across Intrepid, Wildland Trekking, and Urban Adventures in the United States. You will oversee operations, finance, contracting, reservations and a multi-disciplinary team, driving growth and profitability in a high-impact market.
Reporting to the President, Americas, you will build a high-performing leadership network, advance risk management, ensure regulatory compliance, and shape
Qualifications
- Senior management experience with direct accountability for a multidisciplinary team
- DMC or destination operations experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial, operational and people requirements of a complex travel business
- Excellent written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Lead DMC USA for Intrepid, Wildland Trekking, and Urban Adventures in the US
- Drive growth, profitability and brand positioning in key US markets
- Build, coach and retain a high-performing leadership team and field workforce
- Collaborate with GMs and the Presidents to align with broader strategic goals
