Job summary

Intrepid Travel is seeking an experienced General Manager, DMC USA to lead our Destination Management Company across Intrepid, Wildland Trekking, and Urban Adventures in the United States. This onsite role in Golden, Colorado reports to the President, Americas and requires a five-day presence in the office.

You will drive growth, profitability, and partner satisfaction by building a high-performing leadership team, expanding brand presence in national parks and major destinations, and aligning

Qualifications

• Minimum of senior management experience; company or country management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ground operations in the United States, including national parks and multi-day products.
• Experience in tourism or an operations-, sales-, or customer-focused industry.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DMC USA across Intrepid, Wildland Trekking, and Urban Adventures.
• Set long-term strategic plans and oversee day-to-day operations with a strong emphasis on people leadership.
• Build, coach and retain a high-performing leadership team and field workforce.
• Drive growth, profitability and brand positioning across key US markets and destinations.
