Qualifications

• Deep experience and established network in the US Deeptech VC and startup ecosystem.
• Strong negotiation and business development skills.
• Understanding of early-stage venture dynamics, especially in deeptech.
• Experience in equity structuring and strategic partnerships.
• Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and imec’s mission in deeptech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand imec’s network with relevant US Deeptech VC firms.
• Facilitate VC participation or leadership in imec venture funding rounds.
• Identify ventures where imec can add value via background IP or joint R&D.
• Negotiate deals that ensure imec receives long-term upside.
• Promote imec’s venturing activities through participation in key events.
