Job summary

Dayco Inc. seeks a strategic, hands-on US Controller – Aftermarket to lead finance for its U.S. aftermarket business unit and distribution operations.

This role partners with site operations and functional leaders to manage profitability, forecast accuracy, working capital, internal controls, and decision support through clear financial analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, expertise in accounting systems, and a background in operational finance, with at least

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, and audit familiarity.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to Memphis ~6–8 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for US aftermarket.
• Analyze sales, costs, profitability, and cash flow to guide decisions.
• Partner with operations and sales on order activity, shipping, and profitability.
• Monitor costs and perform variance analysis across product cost, labor, freight, overhead.
• Lead inventory accounting, reserves, cycle counts, and obsolescence management.
• Ensure internal controls, GAAP compliance, and audit readiness.
• Develop finance team and drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
