Job summary

BCS Finance is seeking a hands-on Controller to take full tactical ownership of accounting operations, reporting to the CFO. This is a newly created role aimed at streamlining processes and strengthening operational accounting as the business grows in the US and Mexico.

The ideal candidate holds an Active CPA, has heavy manufacturing accounting experience (standard costing, BOMs, variances), and strong multi-currency/intercompany experience. ERP exposure (Epicor or larger systems) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CPA required.
• Heavy manufacturing accounting background (standard costing, BOM, variances).
• Multi-currency / intercompany accounting experience necessary.
• ERP system experience a plus (Epicor or other).

Responsibilities

• Close the books within 5 business days.
• Manage standard costing, variance analysis, BOM-based cost accounting.
• Oversee multi-currency and intercompany accounting (US parent and MX entity).
• Ensure accruals and GAAP-compliant reporting.

We are partnered with a growing, PE Backed manufacturing company is hiring a Controller to take full tactical ownership of accounting operations, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a hands-on, newly created execution role — streamlining processes and operational accounting — as the business pursues continues to organically grow and expand into new production and final-assembly facilities.

Scope:

Leads a US-based accounting team, an international team.

Responsibilities:

• Close the books within 5 business days
• Standard costing, variance analysis, BOM-based cost accounting
• Multi-currency and intercompany accounting (US parent consolidation, along with Mexican entity)
• Accruals and GAAP-compliant reporting
• Drive process ownership and operating discipline across US/Mexico teams

Requirements:

• Active CPA
• Heavy manufacturing accounting background (standard costing, BOMs, variances)
• Multi-currency / intercompany experience
• Epicor experience a plus; larger ERP also welcome
