Job summary

Rothfield Legal Recruitment is seeking a pragmatic, commercially minded compliance professional to lead the US compliance function for a global fintech client. This hands-on role requires 6–10 years in compliance within payments, fintech, or regulated financial services, and offers close collaboration with the US leadership team.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of compliance experience in payments, fintech, or regulated financial services.
• Experience with sponsor banks, embedded payments or state money transmission is useful.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day US compliance program, including BSA/AML and OFAC sanctions.
• Advise on payments regulation, sponsor bank requirements, card network rules and Nacha ACH rules.
• Handle escalations involving onboarding, KYC, transaction monitoring, complaints and disputes.
• Review customer terms, marketing materials and communications.
• Support banking partner due diligence, audits and reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical guidance.
• Collaborate with the US CEO on strategic partnerships and negotiations.
