Job summary

Aspen Aerogels is seeking a Sales Manager, US Capital Projects to identify, influence, and secure mid‑sized insulation projects in the United States. You will coordinate with EPCs, asset owners, and regional sales teams to position Aspen as the preferred insulation solution provider from inception through construction.

You will manage a national portfolio in sectors like hydrogen, carbon capture, data centers, and renewables, travel up to 60% of the time, and maintain alignment with corporate

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in industrial sales, capital project development, EPC engagement, or related technical-commercial roles.
• Deep familiarity with the engineering workflow at EPCs, including FEED, detailed design, procurement, and construction.
• Demonstrated ability to influence project specifications and drive adoption of premium-value technical products.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify capital projects in the U.S. across diverse markets including hydrogen, carbon capture, data centers, and power.
• Secure project specifications and scope inclusion for Aspen Aerogels solutions; build early influence with EPCs and asset owners.
• Lead corporate key account management and collaborate with regional sales managers to drive project pull-through.
