Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a Manager, Sales – HISHITANK to own the U.S. and Canada sales for the HISHITANK tank line.

This role serves as the Americas’ primary commercial presence and requires a highly autonomous sales professional capable of managing the full sales cycle without local support. The role partners with Tokyo HQ to align regional execution with global KPIs, pricing, and market priorities, while building distributor networks and leading technical seminars to customers,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive sales experience in engineering, industrial, or B2B technical sales.
• Experience in plumbing, water/wastewater, construction, or related technical industries.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own a territory or business line.
• Proven track record of building distributor networks and driving revenue growth without a local commercial team.
• Experience coordinating with overseas, Japan-based headquarters across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own every stage of the sales process from lead generation through close.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies in coordination with Tokyo office.
• Build and expand distributor networks and direct-representative relationships.
• Travel frequently across North America (75–80%) to support customers, trade shows, and market development.
