Job summary

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is seeking a US Manager, BD Pursuits & AI Enablement based in New York/California to elevate how the firm pursues and wins work. You will own and streamline the US pitch process, embedding AI enablement and overseeing the global pitch content library to ensure accuracy, structure, and rapid retrieval of materials.

You will partner with BD, lawyers, and business services to keep experience data and CRM records current, and you will build reusable assets, templates,

Qualifications

• Experience in pursuing and winning legal work with BD teams.
• Strong understanding of AI tools in legal business development.
• Ability to manage content and process infrastructure for US pitches.

Responsibilities

• Streamline the US pitch process end to end with AI enablement.
• Manage global pitch content library and ensure searchability.
• Own content, experience data, and process infra for US pitches.
• Build data spine powering AI-enabled pursuit work.
• Develop reusable pursuit assets and templates.
• Collaborate with BD, lawyers, and business services to keep CRM accurate.
• Identify bottlenecks and translate into improvement briefs.
• Create training materials, prompts, and processes for adoption.
• Support US directory submissions and quality control.
• Provide hands-on drafting support on priority pitches.
