Job summary

WPP MAP/VML is seeking a Managing Director, AI Solution Consulting to lead our agentic AI business in the US. You will advise C-level clients on how agents create real value, shape ecosystems, prove ROI, and grow a portfolio of accounts and a high-performing team.

You will partner with AI Product, AI Engineering, Tech, Data and Client Engagement teams to deliver integrated solutions across a multi-agency group like WPP, with a focus on governance and ethical delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in consulting, CX or marketing technology, or AI.
• 5+ years leading a portfolio, P&L or practice in tech/marketing.
• Experience at a tech/marketing agency or consultancy.
• Deep understanding of marketing orgs and AI impact on speed, cost and creative output.
• Fluent with today’s AI and agent tools; able to demo ideas and move from pilot to production.

Responsibilities

• Grow & win US portfolio through client engagement and strategy.
• Serve as trusted advisor to CMOs, CDOs and CX leaders.
• Define value and ROI with baselines and attribution for AI solutions.
• Decide what to build vs configure on platforms; ensure safe, integrated ecosystem.
• Oversee a portfolio of AI programs, delivering outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Lead governance, ethics, and alignment with US AI regulation.
