Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Vice President – US Advisory and Planning Operations Director to lead business line operations, drive P&L, and optimize project delivery across offices. You will partner with the BLE, Finance, and HR to achieve KPIs and mentor staff, while advancing safety, quality, and ethics across the organization.

Based in any WSP USA office, this role demands executive guidance, strong financial acumen and a proven record in large-scale project delivery and leadership across regions.

Qualifications

• 17+ years of experience in related roles.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Business, or equivalent.
• Experience as a major project manager or related role to understand delivery needs.
• Strong understanding of project financials, staffing, client relationships, and performance expectations.
• Proactive problem-solving and clear, candid communication.
• Leadership with commitment, reliability, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the BLE on all operational aspects of the business.
• Monitor P&L, project performance, staffing and staffing efficiency.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, and Project Accounting to deliver KPIs.
• Lead Regional Operations Leaders and Project Delivery Director.
• Promote consistent project delivery, reporting, quality, safety and ethics.
• Provide coaching to project managers and staff; act as a key leader.
