Responsibilities for Urology Scrub / Surgical / Laser Tech

• Perform procedures in accordance with all Laser protocols.
• Set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedures.
• Assist Urologist during ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to the facility at least 60 minutes before procedures.
• Submit treatment/billing logs according to HIPAA policies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Confirm schedule and start times with facilities.
• Have after-hours contact at each facility for emergencies.
• Build and maintain relationships with physician partners.
• Maintain and review Policies & Procedures Manuals.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained and prepared for procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions to service engineers.
• Wear a company name badge when on facility premises.

Qualifications for Urology Scrub / Surgical / Laser Tech

• Certified Scrub Tech or Surgical Technologist or similar background preferred.
• Prior OR experience required.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• Experience with Holmium Laser for Urology procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of sterilization protocols is a plus.

$25 - $30 per hour
