Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years experience with grant and contract administration.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal grant regulations.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software for reporting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sources of funding for basic and translational research.
• Manage grant submissions, progress reports, and budgets with sponsors.
• Prepare proposals, pre-proposals, and letters of support.
• Ensure compliance with UI, departmental, and sponsor guidelines.
• Oversee post-award administration for grants and contracts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for Principal Investigators.
