Astera is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Urology practices by providing clinical support to patients and nursing staff in line with professional standards. Travel to northern Astera Urology locations as needed.

Key duties include maintaining the dispensing area, managing inventory and nucleus system, preparing labels and doses, and compounding therapies per guidelines. PTCB certification and IV admixture experience required; Urology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required.
• IV admixture is required.
• Experience in Urology is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain dispensing area and cleanliness of work area (counters, hood, stock area).
• Manage nucleus system and medication inventory (sign out, return, restock); handle reports and order medications.
• Prepare labels, calculate volumes and infusion rates; know regimen name, frequency and cycle; compound therapies per guidelines.
