Astera Cancer Care in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Urology practices and assist nursing staff. Travel to northern Astera Urology locations may be required.

The role emphasizes maintaining the dispensing area, inventory control, and compounding therapies in accordance with professional standards. Candidates should hold PTCB certification and have IV admixture experience, with prior Urology exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required.
• IV admixture experience required.
• Prior experience in Urology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain dispensing area, including refrigerator temperature log and cleanliness of work area.
• Maintain nucleus system and inventory through sign out, return and restock functions.
• Prepare labels, calculate volumes, infusion rates, and understand regimen names, frequencies and cycle numbers.
• Compound therapies following mixing guidelines.
