Job summary

MidLantic Urology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision. You will fill medication orders, prepackage medications, and help with IV preparations following USP guidelines.

Responsibilities include inventory management, error reporting, and entering accurate drug data. A High School Diploma and Pharmacy Tech program completion are required, with prior pharmacy or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Pharmacy Tech program required.
• Experience in pharmacy/retail or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill new medication orders and cassettes for pharmacist review.
• Assist in reconciliation of missing orders and doses.
• Deliver stock medications and maintain inventory levels.
• Prepare IV medications per USP guidelines.
• Enter drug information (NDC, lot, expiration) into systems.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty.
