United Urology Group is seeking a Clinical Patient Support Representative to join our team in Owings Mills, MD. You will combine responsibilities of a Medical Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist, supporting clinical staff and administrative personnel to ensure efficient operations across our offices.

The role covers patient exam support, room preparation, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, payments, data entry, HIPAA compliance, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years front office and clinical experience, preferably in Urology.
• Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology; ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-organized.
• Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, providing a positive and professional first impression of the clinic.
• Schedule appointments and assist with the scheduling of any additional testing directed by the physician.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing questions.
• Collect payments at time of check-in.
• Review patient demographics, ensuring all data has been recorded, verifying accuracy, and entering the information into Practice Management and EHR.
• Obtain and scan patients\' driver\'s licenses and insurance card(s) into Ntierprise.
• Ensure all required referrals have been obtained, scanned into the EMR, and linked appropriately.
• Assist patients with registering in Phreesia.
