Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in White Settlement, TX.

This part-time position provides comprehensive urology care for residents in our network, with opportunities to work collaboratively in a dedicated team. Required are a Master’s in Nursing, NP/PA licensure, DEA, CPR, and at least 6 months of long-term care experience, with EMR documentation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
• Active NP or PA license (unrestricted)
• DEA license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Master’s degree in nursing
• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• Experience in urology and EMR documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, exam, and diagnostics
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans per guidelines
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Provide education on disease management, meds adherence, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care
• Diagnose and treat urology conditions, infections, and diseases
• Document encounters in EMR accurately

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.

Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
