Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Boston, MA is seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive urology care to residents in long-term care settings. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated care.

Required: NP/PA license, DEA, BLS, a Master’s in Nursing, and at least 6 months in long-term care; urology experience is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A year of experience in Urology.
• Experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
