Infinite Medical P.C. in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a part-time role. You will conduct assessments, develop plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for residents with urological conditions.

The position requires an NP/PA license, DEA, CPR/BLS, and a Master’s in Nursing with at least 6 months in long-term care; urology experience is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• DEA License is required.
• CPR BLS certified.
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Urology experience preferred (1 year).
• Experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history and physical exams.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following guidelines.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Educate patients on disease management and adherence to therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Diagnose and treat urology conditions and infections.
• Document encounters in EMR accurately and timely.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking.
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Computer work.
• Lifting/moving patients.
• Prolonged sitting.
