Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Orlando. The role focuses on providing comprehensive care for urological conditions in a skilled nursing setting.

The position is part-time (2 days per week) with a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 per year. A Master’s degree in Nursing and active NP/PA license are required, along with a DEA license and BLS certification.

Competenze

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/MD license.
• DEA license required.
• CPR BLS certified.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• Graduation from an accredited NP program.
• At least 1 year of Urology experience.
• EMR documentation training provided (Sigma/Visual/PCC).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and assist with lifting up to 20 lbs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
