Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Orlando, FL.

This part-time role covers two days per week and focuses on delivering compassionate care to residents with urological conditions, including infections, stones, and prostate-related issues. The ideal candidate holds an NP or PA license, a Master's in Nursing, a DEA license, and BLS certification, with at least six months in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license; DEA license.
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program; NP/PA credentialing.
• Completed NP/PA program from an accredited NP program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and exams.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress.
• Educate patients on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated care.
• Diagnose and treat urology conditions in residents.
• Document encounters in EMR systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
