Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Boston seeks a Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for residents with urological conditions in a long-term care setting.

You will perform assessments, diagnose common urology issues, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and nurses. The role requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active NP/PA license, a DEA license, BLS/CPR, and at least 6 months of long-term care experience with urology

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license active and unrestricted.
• DEA license and CPR/BLS certification required.
• Master's in Nursing and NP program completion from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized urology treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients on disease management and adherence.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
