Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Flushing, NY. This full-time, four-day-per-week position focuses on delivering comprehensive urology care to residents in long-term care facilities.

You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. A valid NP/PA license, DEA, and nursing Master's are required.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner, PA, or Physician license active and unrestricted.
• DEA license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Master's in Nursing and graduation from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• One year of experience in Urology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and adjust patient progress and treatments.
• Educate patients on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Diagnose and treat urology conditions and infections.
• Document encounters in EMR accurately.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Fine motor skills for procedures. Lifting/moving patients.
