Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Flushing, NY.

You will provide comprehensive care to residents with urological conditions, including infections, stones, prostate issues, and other disorders. This full-time role (4 days per week) offers a competitive salary and opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted NP/PA license and DEA license
• CPR BCLS/BLS certification
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• At least 1 year of Urology experience
• Proficiency with EMR documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical history documentation
• Develop and implement individualized urology treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Educate patients on disease management and medication adherence
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care
• Document encounters and outcomes in EMR systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
• Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
• Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Urology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
