Shore Outpatient Surgicenter is seeking a full-time Urology Nurse Manager to oversee nursing care in a state-licensed ambulatory setting. The role involves policy development, staffing, quality improvement, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing/Administrator to ensure compliance with HIPAA and AAAHC standards.

The ideal candidate will have NJ RN licensure, BLS/ALS certification, and 2+ years of intra-operative leadership with 1+ year in urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state of New Jersey.
• BLS and advanced life support certification required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience intra-operative setting required.
• 1+ years of experience in Urology cases required.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements nursing philosophy and objectives.
• Develops policies, procedures, and staffing aligned with Center goals.
• Evaluates programs and patient care activities.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, AAAHC, and other standards.
• Documents patient care per legal and professional standards.
• Organizes structure and assigns responsibilities for safe, efficient care.
• Leads relationships with center staff and medical staff.
• Sets standards of nursing care and maintains schedules.
• Initiates cost-control activities.
• Directs infection control and environmental safety practices.
• Conducts performance evaluations and staff development.
