Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is assisting a hospital-owned urology practice in Rutland, Vermont, in recruiting a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with urology experience to join a collaborative team. This role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration and a balanced schedule with weekday hours.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Nursing or an AMA-approved PA program, Vermont licensure, national certification, and at least 2 years of urology

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience in urology.
• Vermont licensure or ability to obtain.
• ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team‑based model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Participate in first-call coverage as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
