Joseph Michaels International is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with urology experience to join a hospital-owned urology practice in Rutland, Vermont. This full-time role offers an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and a work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years NP or PA experience in urology.
• Vermont licensure or ability to obtain.
• Unit-specific certifications as applicable (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC).
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-based model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Participate in first-call coverage as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
