Job summary

Syneos Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to drive understanding of billing, coding, and reimbursement for targeted urology accounts, hospitals, and ASCs.

You will build relationships with key customers, navigate Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers, and collaborate with the account team to improve patient access.

The role requires at least 4 years in pharma/biotech/medical device, 2 years in reimbursement, and willingness to travel with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device experience.
• Minimum of 2 years reimbursement experience.
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays; valid driver’s license.
• 2 years hospital or large account experience and 2 years Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure target accounts understand all applicable billing and coding requirements.
• Develop and leverage relationships with key customers in target accounts.
• Understand billing and coding within target accounts: Urology clinics, ASC, Hospitals.
• Understand reimbursement regulations for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.
• Partner with the account team to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient and the account.
• Demonstrate expertise in disease state, product, surgical process and reimbursement.
