Job summary

Columbia University Medical Center’s Department of Urology seeks a Clinical Coordinator II – Registered Nurse to support providers with patient care, health education, EMR management, and coordination of urology services. The role covers data collection, triage, scheduling tests, assisting with procedures, and ensuring infection control and patient safety across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The position may require occasional float to other clinics and participation in ongoing staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) is required.
• 3 years of nursing or related experience.
• Current NYS RN license.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and collect data on patient health status and input into EMR as directed.
• Coordinate plan of care across inpatient, outpatient, home, and other settings.
• Assist with nursing interventions and procedures, including catheter management and wound care.
• Provide patient education on urological conditions and treatments.
• Handle triage by phone, MyChart, and in-person, addressing urinary symptoms and post‑operative care.
