Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Urology to provide continuity of care for patients and families as part of the outpatient care team. You will collaborate with Urologists, educate, and liaise with other providers across the care continuum.

The role includes performing evaluations, ordering studies, developing treatment plans, performing office procedures, and participating in on-call duties within a Provider Pod Care Team Model.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island licensure as a PA/NP.
• Minimum 2 years acute or ambulatory care experience as an APP.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Current DEA licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to learn.
• Willingness to work across several urology subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete evaluations on patients.
• Orders and interprets lab, x-ray and studies.
• Develops treatment plans for urological conditions.
• Implements therapeutic interventions and follow-up care.
• Performs on-call duties for urology.
• Sees post-operative patients as needed.
• Assists in office procedures and TRUS/urodynamics/cystoscopies.
