Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for urology to provide comprehensive outpatient care and continuity for patients and families. You will collaborate with Urologists, educate, and liaise with other healthcare providers across the care continuum.
The APP will be part of a Provider Pod Care Team and participate in post-operative follow-up and in-office procedures under supervision, with regular day shift hours.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide the urology patient and their family with continuity of care. The APP will act as an integral part of the outpatient care team. The practitioner will also act as an educator and a liaison to other health care providers providing care across the care continuum. This position will be a part of a Provider Pod Care Team Model and will work collaboratively with assigned Urologists in the practice.
General Duties:
Exposed to surgical procedures and patient care environments. Regularly experiences mental/visual fatigue from job pressures.
Performs independently within the departments policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to the supervisor when clarification of the departmental policies and procedures are required.
