Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work with licensed physicians in a primary care setting.

The APP assesses health status, performs examinations, orders tests, and initiates treatment plans in line with established protocols. The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to medical documentation and billing standards, with opportunities to teach staff and trainees in the cardiology context.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• AANP or ANCC/NCCPA board certification or state licensure.
• Two years of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through interview, health history and physical exams.
• Collaborate with physicians to order/perform diagnostic tests and interpret data.
• Explain procedures, preparation, and expected effects to patients and families; provide education.
• Contribute to the plan of care, including medications, referrals and follow-up with supervising physician.
• Identify and manage acute and chronic illnesses per established protocols.
• Document data, assessments and care plans per standards; maintain regulatory compliance.
