Job summary

International Automotive Components is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Arlington, TX manufacturing operations. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and mentor junior technicians.

Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands‑on experience in injection

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems OR experience maintaining injection molding machines and associated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., stand/walk/bend for extended periods.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use.

Job description

Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement activities on production equipment and facility systems. This position provides training and assistance to junior technicians while working under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and/or injection molding equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Duties:

• Foster a positive working environment while meeting established productivity goals and performance standards.
• Maintain maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and injection molding equipment.
• Assist senior technicians with complex repairs while following established maintenance procedures and safety requirements.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school, trade certification, or related maintenance training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems OR experience maintaining injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and stand, walk, bend, and work on the production floor for extended periods.

Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical controls, motors, sensors, relays, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with injection molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, robotics, or automated manufacturing systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, repair manuals, charts, and schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with injection molding machines, robots, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
