Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and computer skills to create and fill out web-based work orders.
• Willingness to be on-call after hours and overtime as needed.
• Technical School certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial electric and pneumatic pumps and motors.
• Repair and rebuild gear pumps and diaphragm pumps from ¾” to 3” sizes.
• Change mechanical seals in pumps.
• Align shafts for pumps.
• Carry out minor electrical work as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts.
• Follow up on work orders.
• Adhere to safety regulations and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

This role is also required to periodically be on call to cover non routine maintenance activities that occur during off hours.

Essential Functions

• Preventive maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting industrial electric and pneumatic pumps and motors
• Repair and rebuilding of gear pumps and diaphragm pumps from ¾” to 3” sizes
• Changing of mechanical seals in pumps
• Shaft alignment for pumps
• Minor electrical work
• General facility upkeep and routine repairs
• Follow up on workorders.
• Must comply with all safety regulations and policies to ensure work is done is a safe manner.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts list.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic mathematical and computer skills (create and fill out work orders on a web-based system)
• Ability to work independently maintaining high standards.
• Must be able to be on-call for afterhours call in and overtime as needed.
• Technical School certifications a plus

Physical Requirements

• Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
• Unrestricted ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, ladders and balance.
• Unrestricted ability to use hands and arms.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move 55 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level is usually loud.
